Privacy notice

Last updated: 2 October 2026

This notice explains what personal data sumnetics.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. The site has no analytics, no cookies and no third-party scripts or fonts.

Who is responsible

The controller is Humanity Solutions, practising as Foresight-Transitions, KvK 71110178, Hamerstraat 67D, 2512 CX The Hague, the Netherlands. For any privacy question or request, email connectwithus@humanitysolutions.net.

What we collect through the contact form

  • What you would like to discuss (the option you choose).
  • Your email address (required) and your name (optional).
  • The workstream you describe (optional) and your message.
  • Your results summary, if you came from a reading or the assessment and did not remove it before sending (for example your maturity stage and readiness). The form shows it to you first.
  • The address of the page you sent the form from, unless you removed it. The form shows it to you first.
  • Which button brought you to the form (for example “hero” or “FAQ”), in the subject line.

If you email us directly, we receive what you write and your email address.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

We use your details only to reply to your inquiry, set up an intro conversation and, if you want one, prepare a proposal. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). For general questions that are not about an assignment, the basis is our legitimate interest in answering you (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use your details for newsletters or marketing, and we do not sell them.

Who processes it for us

  • Google (Apps Script): the contact form is delivered through a Google Apps Script that runs under Humanity Solutions’ own Google account, and submissions arrive in that account.
  • Hostinger: hosts this website. Like most web servers, it keeps technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, time and page requested) to run and secure the site.

Transfers outside the EU

Google is a US company, so form data may be processed in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Google LLC is certified, or on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses in Google’s data processing terms.

How long we keep it

Inquiries are deleted 12 months after our last contact unless they lead to an assignment. In that case we keep what tax and bookkeeping law requires (7 years) and delete the rest 2 years after the assignment ends. Hosting logs are kept by Hostinger for a limited period to run and secure the site.

The free readings and your browser’s storage

The readings are calculated in your browser. The SumOfUs short check, the cost-of-friction calculator and the leadership quiz are not saved. Your full-assessment result and any cost figures you enter are saved only in this browser’s local storage (under the names “sumnetics.unifiedCollaboration.v1” and “sumnetics.unifiedEconomics.v1”), so your results can be shown again. They are never sent to us unless you choose to include a summary in a note. You can delete them anytime with “Delete my answers”, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser. Local storage is not a cookie and is not used for tracking.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Email connectwithus@humanitysolutions.net. We reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
